Anyone else end up going? I managed to drag myself along (the thought of being close to helicopters was just too great...) and although it was a pretty misrible start when I arrived (1330 ish) with a bit of a shower and some lovely overcast, was a great display with some excellant demos by the fire crews and the winch. Managed to take a few photos (only about 173), so I can upload a couple if anyones interested?

Wow, excellent shots!
I especially like No.s 3 and 4.
What does Vincent Aviation do? Are they a passenger service? I've heard their name before but never looked into it.

Thanks. They are not as good as they could be. Gotta learn to stop playing with settings :-) They're a charter airliner. Cessna 402, Dash 8, Beech 1900C and 1900D are seen quite regulary in Wellington. Based in WN and Darwin over "there" :-) www.vincentaviation.co.nz/James |
