Hi Guys, the Tokoroa flying club hosted an informal but public fly in on Saturday, which was really sucessful. I went along to catch up with the SAA people who dropped in. Aircraft came and went all day, but the selection and variety was impressive. lots of people from the township came up to the field and were introduced to a whole range of sport flying activities. SimonJG arranged for anumber of warbird aircraft - the Devon, Harvards and the Thunder Mustang to fly past on thier way to Rotorua - cheers Simon - they looked great. Unfortunately I had some wrong camera settings during the mustang fly by (which was VERY fast...) so I didnt get a decent shot of that - but I have some other photos: ZK-BFF is newly rebuilt an immaculate. It has a functioning Gosport tube system still. ZK-ASM wears military Silver.... Whereas ZK-AIA is painted to represent a Tiger moth (of the garden bug variety...) More coming...
