Gavin Trethewey is a former display pilot for the Canberra B12 before he went to ANZ. He was actually brilliant at it too! Anyone who ever saw one of his displays will remember the steep climb from take-off followed by a roll, and the high-speed turn around the tower at Ohakea.

Alex, loved the shot of the V-12 Yak getting airborne. It is the only photo I have seen where you can see the heat from a piston fighters' oil cooler and radiator as it lifts off,
