Thanks for those details. I'll add them to the calendar.
Quite a late airshow in the season, but I guess it is the winterless north.

I think the DC3 has some very reasonable priced seats Queens Birthday weekend Ardmore - Kerikeri - Ardmore. Don't quote me but I think it was $100 return. Could be a great weekend away with Warbirds. I would think you would have to join NZ Warbirds which is well worth the money even just to receive the news letter.

Cool, yes it does sound like a great trip, especially if the weather is good. Being a long weekend, what's the odds of that though?
Has the DC-3 been painted yet?

Taken WBW on a couple of test flights today. The radio is a bit iffy, the flap indicator doesn't work and the fuel guage is u/s. Apart from that, we're all set for the trip up there!

WBW what a lovely Aircraft that is, first flew in it twice (2 hrs) in 1988 when it was based in Woodbourne and then flew another 2 hrs in it in 1992 on an ATC, RNZAF flying scholarship. Went solo in NZ 1760, then flew it as WBW in, I think 1995 when it was at Omaka for a few days. Could you please tell me who operates it now? ;D

RNZAF Base Auckland Aviation Sports Club Power Section, based at Whenuapai. Thats great and thanks for the picture, It looks great lovely aircraft to fly. I do remember the spade grip in the centre as being a bit of a concern to start with but once you get used to it, its a great set up. ;D
