The Seafire is gorgeous.
That colour scheme on the Wasp is menacing, it actually looks like a wasp.

The Seafire certainly looks good, but I can't get over the size difference between it and many other naval fighters from the same period.
The Seahawk(?), Sea Fury and Seafire look great in formation too.

Love that last shot with 3 classic FAA aircraft - I'd have loved to have seen (and heard) it!

Thanks for your remarks. A few extra shots of the Wasp …. ….this machine was apparently a former RNZN machine, NZ3905, it is currently operated by Kennet Aviation, the operators of the Seafire.

Wow, I never knew one of our Wasps made it to the UK warbird circuit. I used to see a lot of them when I lived at Hobsonville. Neat helicopters.
Apart from the RNZAF Museum's example, are any other Wasps still in NZ?
