WW1 Aircraft at Wanaka

Here are a few photos of the WW1 aircraft flying at Wanaka.
The aircraft were flown by Gene De Marco,(Camel, Paul Hughan, (DR1) and Tim Sullivan.(Nieuport)

With Classic Fighters 2007 on at Easter next year there will be these airraft on display along with a number of others and there could be a couple of surprises that you wont want to miss so its time to start thinking about getting accomodation etc sorted as this is one show you wont want to miss

Does Omaka still have any of the wartime barrack blocks? They'd be great for airshow accomodation.

There is the locat ATC sqn across the road but the small huts have been gone for a while now.
As for the airshow, Dont miss it, its going to be a cracker
