The June 1979 copy of NZ Wings states that two Harvards, ZK-ENE (NZ1066) and ZK-ENI (NZ1075) stole the show at Max Clear's airstrip at Te Kowhai for the April 1979 AACA fly in.
Would this have been Trevor Bland and Ernie Thompson, who were apparently the NZ Warbirds first harvard display team? They usually flew ZK-WAR and ZK-ENE respectively.
Does anyone recall the display and who the pilots were? Does anyone have the actual date in April 1979 too please?
