Paddy, Thanks for the link, that is a good story and it turned out well. Here is an evocative pic of a Vulcan over HMAS Melbourne probably in South China Sea in early 1970s (from rudder marking on A4G). Way back in mid-1968 I was lucky enough to see 3? Vulcans takeoff from RAAF Pearce. Tremendous. Phil.
