When I was watching the seven Fokkers start their engines on the Sunday morning of Omaka airshow, one of the pilots when talking to his prop spinner chap had a distinctively North American accent. Which one was he? I deduce it was either Jerry Chisum or Greg MacDonald? Was he in NZ just for the airshow or is he resident here?

The fella with the accent will be Jerry Chisum (he's from Alaska). Greg's a Kiwi so unlikely he has picked up an accent recently. Jerry is resident in NZ now and spends most of his time flying for Airwork. He lives between Hawkes Bay and Blenheim (and numerous places in between where aircraft are rumoured to reside).

Nice one Colin. Keith did that right in front of the fenceline where Craig and I were standing. I think he may have done it because he saw my camera actually but I'm not sure.

That is good Dave, I was beginning to think he wasn't going to do it on the Sunday. Pity I hadn't been standing next to you as I was hoping for a side or front shot. This one came out nice with the light anyway. Just proves not everything happens directly in front of the Gold stand either. Colin

He was waiting for all the radials to toddle back in after the fire from memory.
I think Craig took some shots of the fold. Always neat to watch eh!
