My name is Sue Gray. My father was Air Vice Marshal Malcolm Frederick Calder and he was Chief of Air Staff from July 1958 - November 1962 in the RNZAF. I have noticed that some of the information you have about him is incorrect. How can I change this? Or do I just give you the information. MY email is: sueegray@gmail.com

My note below is requesting photos. I am placing it here in this board first as the topic appears to cover research. Should I also be placing it in the other topics to which it is related, or is it considered bad form / against the rules to do multiple posts to catch the widest viewing? I read the rules and multiple posts don't seem to be forbidden.
I have been asked by my brother in Canada to attempt to find pictures of aircraft that were flown during WW2 by the father of his best friend. He intends to make a model of the Corsair to give to his friend painted as his father’s aircraft. To that end I have done a fair bit of research, and have trawled through Warren Russell’s Corsair Special book, all to no avail. While I have the details of two aircraft that Milton James flew at least once each, I cannot source a picture of either. The Corsair Special gives generic information and pictures of other aircraft that were with SU30 at the time, but none of these specific aircraft. Is there any chance that anyone here might have images of NZ5263 / CN4969 / BU49722 or of NZ5335 / Code C / CN5125 / BU49878? They are both F4U-1s.
Many thanks Pat

Welcome Pat, please do post this again into the Wartime RNZAF section. It would get more viewers there I'm sure.
