Hi everyone,
With a number of young, enthusiastic ladies and gentlemen who happen to be in the Air Training Corps joining us recently, I have decided to create a sub-board for them to discuss ATC stuff.
There are not too many places like this available online, so I hope you'll all use it wisely, respect the older forum members by using punctuation and proper English (not texting type please!), keep it clean, don't have too much of the "our squadroin's better than your squadron" nonsense, and all should be fine.
So, all ATC members, ex-ATC members and other interested people, you're welcome to post away with questions, answers, issues, competition results, camp details, photo, news, upcoming events and the likes here.
Spread the word among your squadron friends and feel free to bring other cadets to the forum. And the Sea Scouts and Army Cadets are also welcome if you'd like to join in.

ok il be the first cadet to post an official message for this board
first off, congrats to all those people that won prizes at their prize givings and for those that didn't don't be discouraged there is always next year, just go hard guys, the more you put in the more you get out that's for sure!
and a message to all those hopefuls for next years juniors, study hard (i am) and be ready for anything, leave no booklet unread and no revision sheet un-revised, theres nothing worse than being in post-advanced.
finally, can not wait to see all the people that are attending the rnzaf and police christmas party at hobby, it should be great especially with 30 sqn helping.

Hi all,
Good to see you ATC guys and girls are spreading the word about the forum, you're all welcome here so long as rules are obeyed and pleasant harmony reigns.
The forum has over the past ten months built up a strong core membership of people from all spectrums of NZ and the world who're interested in NZ military and civil aviation, and they come from all backgrounds and are all ages.
The forum is here to share knowledge and discuss and share our interests. The ATC has never before been a discussed topic on the forum, so I hope it will become an interesting sub-board for all to read and will add a new dimension to the forum at large. It's nice to see the enthusiasm and the interest in the younger generations.
And thanks for the thought that the cadets will treat this forum as it should be. I know they will, because if they don't they'll hear from me. With the wide variety of excellent people the forum is frequented by, I'd hate to lose any through a change in the forum dynamics, so that's why you youngins have a seperate board for your own stuff. But feel free to use the other boards for relevant discussion in other aviation topics. But I do insist please, use proper English, punctuation and captal letters. There's also a spellchecker provided when you post (though even I am guilty of forgetting this sometimes). But as you're probably aware, nothing infuriates some of us older internet users more than texting phone-style abbreviations. Please don't use them here otherwise some of our older (ie long-standing) and valuable memebrs may disappear. Thanks. Not having a dig at anyone here, this is a general rule of thumb I just wanted to get across. Cheers guys. Enjoy the forum.
Dave

another from f/s kettle; go on as many courses as you possibly can it gives you a great advantage and in some cases priority for promotion.
