I have received a complaint by email from a member of No. 30 Squadron, Air Training Corps, who is not yet a member of this forum, about the behaviour of two members on this ATC Board.
This person asked me to delete all the posts by these two regarding the ATC, as they are alledgedly bringing the Cadet Forces and their squadron into disrepute in their opinion. They have asked me to also consider deleting the accounts of the two.
I have considered both requests and decided not to take such severe actions as they are not warranted. This is a public forum where opinions can be expressed within limits of the rules here.
I have however locked the thread in which ATC members are asked to rank their most favourite to least favouite Sqn members. As I warned earlier on that thread it was a very unwise idea to do this because this is a publicly viewed thread and anyone might see it. Well someone did, and they did not like it. I cannot blame them quite frankly.
From now on I have zero tolerance. There will be no more discussing of any fellow squadron members in any way that derides their position or personality. That means I will not tolerate personal attacks, snide remarks or any such nonsense on this forum board where any person you refer to is named personally. If it occurs the post will be removed and the poster's account will be suspended, or possibly cancelled.
You WILL work within the rules of my forum. Any breach of these rules will be dealt with swiftly and privileges may be removed from you.
This is your final warning. That goes for everyone!
If this nonsense persists then I will be forced to remove the ATC Board all together, and return this to the peaceful happy forum it once was. We both do not want that, do we?
