What rank (eqivalent) are you,. ive tried to make it all equal (i.e. FSGT/SSGT/CPO) but if its not perfect i'm sure you get over it.

i aim to do my SNCO course by at least the end of 2007 and get promoted to SGT at the end of the year at end parade.

I have gone through this thread and removed several posts made by two of our younger memebrs. One was abusing the privilege of this forum a little, the other was sanctioning him.
Guys, there's no need to
a) Ruin a good thread that drakey has started for all you younger members to use
b) fall out with each other over something as trivial as this
c) think that the rank system on this forum means much
d) waste webspace with posts simply to boost your rank ratings.
As I say, this forum board I've added on for you guys is a privilege I have extended to you. You younger members are all most welcome to use it, but please do not abuse it. And if any more problems do arise and you spot them, please contact me directly. That goes for any problem with any post, this is not directed at the cadets. We like having you all here and hope you'll settle into become a great part of the forum.
If there are any disputes over my removal of posts, please contact me by email or PM.

Not thick at all, it's a little used word really.
Sanction has several meanings, it can mean authorise or approve. It can also mean on the other hand to impose a penalty or tell off - which is the way it's used in terms of say the United Nations sanctioning a country for doing wrong. Iraq had sanctions imposed by the UN for ten years, where they were not allowed to tade with other nations, etc.
Perhaps sanctioning was not the best choice of words I could have used in this respect, but the usage of it was meant to mean telling off the other member.

Things are hard and all but comeon!
I need a good stable nco that i know i can rely on if i get sick
So what if our plans didnt quite work out (your doing seniors in 2008 and hopefully being promoted in 2008, I did seniors in 2007 but am still awaiting promotion), we're good ncos and what does rank matter anyway? We are mighty corporals and we hold up the unit as there are more of us than anyother rank and we are always there to fill in for our insober snco conterparts!
Remember theres still a whole new flight to train and as corporals we make the biggest impact on them, we are the ones they watch, we are the ones they ask for help, we are the ones that train them. They need us. They learn our rank the quickest because its most important to them for the time being.
Remember, the bottom of the food chain plays its important role too.
