RNZAF 50th Anniversary Ohakea pageant souvenir programme, plus 2 RNZAF stickers that came with. Picked up as part of a package at a bookfair, I already have a copy so I'm giving this one away to a worthy recipient, or whoever wants it ;D;). It isn't exactly mint, there is some damage to the cover but otherwise it is fairly tidy. It's actually in slightly better condition than my original copy, but as I picked up that one at the actual event it is slightly more valuable to me . If no-ones interested it goes on Trademe!

I'd be keen to get the book please Sam. I just realised my copy is different as it's the Wigram one for the same celebration year.

Hi Sam,
The programme and stickers arrived safely yesterday afternoon, and I have now had a chance to make a comparison with the one I had already. The cover is different only in the wording in the blue square on the bottom of the front.
The Ohakea one reads: "OHAKEA AIR PAGEANT 4th & 5th April 1987 INCORPORATING PROGRAMME AIRSHOW RADIO AM 1125 KHz"
Whereas the one I had already which a mate gave me and he said was from the Wigram airshow on the 1st of April 1987 reads instead: "F I F T Y Y E A R S OF SERVICE 1 9 3 7 1 9 8 7"
Also in the centre of the Ohakea one is the extra page with the airshow details and photo of the base with keys as to what's where, etc. plus the flying programme. My other Wigram copy didn't have a centrespread, I wonder if it was pulled out or if the Wigram show had a seperate sheet.
Anyway it is really good to have this different variation. A while back I decided i wanted to try collecting NZ Airshow programmes, having been given a number by a mate and also having picked up some good ones over the years, and I've lately been getting some good ones on TradeMe. I'm especially interested in major airshows like RNZAF ones or Warbirds shows. I'm thinking about creating a website dedicated to NZ Airshows and their performers (planes and pilots). It could have scans of the various programmes, photos, maybe even video plus pilot biogs, etc. What do people think, worth doing?
Thanks again Sam, much appreciated.
