I am looking for the autobiography of Sir Lawrence Wackett as well as a book entitled "33 days" which, apparently, tells the story of some RAAF airmen marooned for 33 days after the prang of a CAC (or Tugan) Gannet RAAF Air Ambulance.
Any information on the Wackett Gannet or its predecessor, the one-off Codock, would be appreciated.
Does anyone from the Sydney area recall exactly what the sign at Penfolds' Minchinbury Winery on the Great Western Highway said when it was placed there along with the Codock, its predecessor, a De Havilland Gypsy Moth, and the replicas which followed? "Don't crash,......... Penfolds" Please fill in the missing word.
Try to recall this from your own memory. I suspect that the sources on the net are incorrect.
