Recieved this email the other day from Eric Stroud. He is looking for an A-37 to purchase. In the off chance that there's someone here that may be able to help I've pasted the details below as well as his email address (I've already sent a copy to NZ Warbirds and Avspecs) ..... "I am looking for an A-37 to restore and/or purchase for use in the US … for air shows and static display.
Would you have any ideas as to where I could find such an A-37?
I thank you in advance –
Best regards, Eric" eric@hoakfund.comCheers, Stu

Those listed on the link are T-37's, the A-37 is a far different animal, they are equipped with J-85's and have a max cruise of 450KTS loaded Here is what the A-37B Dragonfly looks like

Good shot by 'Kereru' there. The A37 is one of my favourite warbirds, loud, dirty, fast and it looks mean.

And boy it looks good in the expert hands of Gavin Trethewey at an airshow, doesn't it?

Every museum, airfield and junkheap in Vietnam seems to have at least one. Don't know how purchaseable/restorable they are though.

We called in many airstrikes utilizing these aircraft quite accurate I might add.........

Colin, the 'aeroplane pictures' links don't seem to work for me.

Colin, the 'aeroplane pictures' links don't seem to work for me. Dave help! Some kind of spell check is changing the links from air to aero so the link no longer works? Can it be fixed? Colin

Ah, yes, I put that into the spell checker because it's so fricking annoying to most of us when people call aeroplanes "airplanes". I consider it a swearword.
Blast, you foiled my plan!

Dave sorry about that and I agree with your plan. Thanks for fixing it. It is quite strange because this web site is based in the UK. www.airplane-pictures.net/There are some warbird photos from UK on it too. Colin
