Flying overalls? Or working overalls (blue)?
I don' have either, as overalls should be handed back when you leave, but I thought I'd seek clarification for others. Any size too?

Flying overalls any size will do. Thanks Dave I thought handing them in would be the case. This would be the best site to ask if any were available? Colin www.newzealand-aeronautics.com/

Actually I think RNZAF pilots do get to keep their flying overalls when they've been in a while. So there may be some out there.

No. I got out at Ohakea where the suppliers did their jobs well, and ensured everything came back and was ticked off the list.

No. I got out at Ohakea where the suppliers did their jobs well, and ensured everything came back and was ticked off the list. These days there is no list. PICs went out with the ark, or at least 9 years ago at any rate. Now we keep everything. There is no place to hand it back in to anyway, we no longer have clothing stores. Although flying clothing is managed slightly differently to everything else.

I remember a few years back the ATC squadron I was involved with was seeking some ex-military clothing for cadet use. Camo gear, that sort of thing. The response from NZDF was that they burn it all and no items were permitted for use by civilians. Things have changed obviously. Some army surplus stores had good gear available. There was one store in (i think) Manurewa which had flying overalls in stock. Looked like they'd never been used (fell off the back of a stores truck?)

Hadnt considered that possibility. The Chinese will copy anything these days for a quick buck.
