I just stumbled onto this on TradeMe. It's a nice looking aircraft, I hope it stays in NZ. Some nice photos on the listing. www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/Aircraft/auction-113772768.htm?p=3The write-up states: "ZK-XSA "7660" Harvard T6G MkIII for outright sale - syndicate disbanding located in Canterbury, NZ. Ex South African Air Force and complete with "icecream kit" SAA Avionics upgrade 26/12/1941 - TT 8600 hrs, Engine TSO 970 hrs Meticulously maintained since imported to NZ 1996 - Last annual Jan '07 - Dayglo repaint April '07 Price includes all syndicate assets; 2 helmets, custom canopy and engine cowl covers, tow tractor - restored BMC Mini tractor and tow bar. See website www.harvard7660.co.nz for more images and aircraft information. This is a fantastic opportunity to own what Trevor Bland described as "one of, if not the best of type he had flown" We would love to see her sold in NZ."

She certainly looked fantastic in her new paint at Omaka. I hope they manage to keep it in New Zealand too, as with its SAAF colours it certainly compliments the Harvard population in NZ nicely.

Ya know, we here at Omaka would be very pleased to have her..... Seriously though, it sure would be nice to keep her in NZ. A wee bit out of my price range, but stranger things have happened.
