I've just discovered two Kiwi International Airlines posters which I didn't know my Dad had hidden away. I shall keep one, but as they're a neat poster and historically significant to NZ aviation, I thought I'd offer the other on here in a bit of an online auction. If you're interested, please place a bid before the 15th of November 2007. Starting bid is $10. The price does note include postage, which will be added later. I'm sure the members here who like NZ airlines will agree it's a great find. Here's a hastily done photo, the oranges are not included but were just to hold it down on the table (it's been rolled up for about 12+ years!

So no-one's actually interested in the historic poster?

The poster is nice Dave, and I'm sure it has historical significance for anyone interested in NZ civil aviation. Someone here must collect these items?

I can throw in a bundle of CityJet Baggage tags if you want to make a "Defunct airline combo" and split the proceeds

The Wikipedia page quoted refers to a different Kiwi International - the US based one (no relation at all to the NZ version) Kiwi International (NZ) was another under capitalised and over enthusiastic NZ air carrier sent to the wall by competing with an established and aggressive air NZ.

Hmmm. The poster says "Kiwi International Airlines". Which one is it Dave?

It is the NZ one. It was run by entrepreneur Ewen Wilson, who put all his and his family's money into it, and got huge local support here in the Waikato. He lost the lot. He then became a councillor in Auckland or something, and I think he is still involved in some aviation dealings.
