At the Key Publishing Forum there has been a major attempt to list all surviving World War 1 aircraft.
There has been some problems in coming up with a tight definition of what exactly is a genuine surviving artifact, but despite this problem there are an amazing number of surviving airframes, and an even more surprising number of them now in NZ:
