Nice pics, guess it was hard to get speed related blur from the Cub?

;DNah - I was playing around with lighting on the J3 Cub shot - it would probably look a bit odd with the blur affect on the J-3!

I'm sure with my photographic skills I could get a blurry cub. Unintentionally of course.

Nice shots! Great idea adding realistic effects to FS images.
Just looking at them, I thought of two more things you could do to improve them even further.
How about taking a shot of just the background where the aircraft would be, but without the aircraft in it... then taking another shot of just the aircraft (in identical light) in front of a blank or dull background? This would start you off with two layers (aircraft and background) and make it even easier to add effects to one or the other.
The other idea I had was to add a little blur to the background to simulate narrow depth of field.
Great work!

Thanks for the pointers in regards to taking two shots - I'll give them a go! Just getting into photoshop stuff and how it all works - plenty to learn.
I have tried different blurring effects but nothing worth posting yet
