LOL! I hadn't noticed that ute! Very cool! And as for Graham's Alfa (and maybe Jane's Mazda wagon) perhaps we can get pics to Robin for the first update file! ;-) Great pics Gav! Can't wait to get mine.

I think the update will have to include the two new hangars beside the AHC too.

There are actually three hangars going up there Dave and with the huge amount of interest in the air park, there will hopefully be quite a few more there by the time you make it down here next

It won't be Marty's red Mazda. There is no way he'd take the 323 on the 75 metre drive to work when he could take the V8 Land Rover instead.

I've seen a red hatchback at the AHC sometimes, possibly one of the girls is over there then? Paul, thanks for that gorgeous Pfalz shot! It'll be so awesome when I can do that myself! I have some nifty ideas in mind for my first RealNZ Omaka - I mean Marlborough - shoot. It's a shame you took the Siai-Marchetti in for your first NZOM landing....could at least have used the Cub! Brisfit would've been quite cool though (first type to land there). Ah well, the shots are sooo cool (hehe, go the Pfalz!!!) I'll forgive ya! EDIT - Ooooh, just looked at your Pfalz shot again, Paul - jeez, I wanna fly that soooooooooooooooooooooo bad!

Can someone please fly a plane over Blenheim? I'd like to see what the town looks like in the game. Is it as detailed as the airfield?
Also, can you actually walk around on the ground or can you only view the place from a plane.

Hi Dave
Sim not game - simmers get upset if you call it a game.
No Blenheim is not detailed - not from what I can see in my brief flights anyway - there are some vineyards, winerys around Omaka and some detail around Picton. The Blenheim township is generic "autogen" buildings. To make it fully detailed will probably make it unflyable as frame rates willl drop too much.
You can't really walk around unless you download and install a "human sim" and that will probably work. There is also a slewing function. I have not seen a human sim fr downloading although they did use one at the virtual airshow so they must be out there. I have 4wd I can burn around in although but I prefer to fly.

Witherhills winery is done in good detail and is at the western end of Omaka and that really helps with circuits on runways 12 and 25. The Waihopai spy balls are also visable if you head up that far.

Whoops, sorry on the terminology. I guess games are for nerds?
So do you mean you could get one of those Sim people in Sims that people live online with and put him or her into this sim. That'd be cool.

Haha I feel like a nerd anyway but at least this type of flying is a lot cheaper. I have seen some big fights on some forums on whether it is game or a sim - raher childish really.
Don't know about putting a sim person from the sims into flights sim but you probably could get a sim like person on one of the big flight sim sites to download.
I'll post some screen shots later tonight or tomorrow - tonight is disintergrating with sick kids.

For Zac - Aeronca @ Omaka (any pictures of the real one there anyone?) I can most certainly oblige Paul! Zac gladly presents Aeronca 7AC Champ ZK-KCO: I've got a few detail shots if you're keen - I have around fifty of her and Graham's Fleet 16B, and can get some more no sweat. :DThanks for the screenies! Woo! Hows about a KCO repaint?

Thanks Zac for the pic - thought it was yellow - yea I have tried repainting but still having problems - need a lot more practice - maybe I should read up more on it. My father learnt to fly in a Aeronca Champion so there is a connection (plus he built a RC scale model of it) - ZK-BVF it still exists according the CAA register last time I looked - would be great if I could find a photo as it exists now. Cheers

Great shots Naki, love the Herc ones especially. Maybe Dave can point you to Air Movements at WB? Dont think the Base Commander would like the Herc blocking his view of the Marlborough hills
