Just thinking about the awesome Thunder Mustang, I was wondering about the comparisons with the real P-51D and it struck me that the smaller composite aircraft of today may have actually made a very awesome fighter in WWII if it had been around then. I'm not sure if there is room for guns and gun bays in the wings, but if there is imagine this aircraft taking on the Luftwaffe over Europe - smaller, faster, less radar signature, etc. Which turns tighter I wonder, the Thunder of the real Mustang?
It would be interesting to see a Thunder Mustang go up against a Bf109G or a Fw190 in a mock dogfight, eh. It could be done these days, and would make a great airshow routine and even more interesting combat test with cameras and lazers rather than guns.

it also has alot longer range which would have been good, but i dont think it would be able to withstand to many bullet's

Very nice. It could almost be mistaken for the real thing.
