What's the story with the patches on the Harvrad where the markings have been painted over?

Usual airshow stuff. A bit of masking to turn an aircraft into the bad guy to be shot up. it's an ex NZ Harvard btw. saw it at Wanaka in 2000

That was one of my favourite Harvards when it used to be on the circuit here. It had the swivel rear seat with guns mounted.

well, the guns are gone but the seat still swivels. I particulay like how the back canopy folds out the way as well. Different to the Flying Fighters harvard which had to be removed before flight.

ah yes that swivel seat was great, awesome photos and the T28 in particular is a ripper.
