Now that is an excellent photo! Wow.
Are they attached to a MASH unit? And what are the pods on the wings? Are they fuel tanks?

They are a Dustoff (Medevac) unit based at Camp Humphrey in South Korea. The tanks are extended range fuel tanks.

Yip, they are great shots all aright What sort of extra range do the Blackhawks get out of those pylon fuel tanks?

I told Glenn that if he dropped his camera while taking that shot we were both in some deep shite The tanks give them an extra couple of hours and from their base at Camp Humphrey can basically fly to any part of South Korea and back again. Ned
