Wow!
WOW!!
I have never been much taken with the Isaac's Fury, always thinking it a very poor replica. However you have made this one look absolutely gorgeous! Fantastic shots there Alex.
I don't know who is reducing your karma, or why, but I'm certainly adding an exalt right now!

Quite like that third photo. The karma one is interesting and I know from my own website that some funny things are going on. there is a photo that has 29 votes of 10 and a single vote of 1 which of course brings the average down and Im not sure why, its still a nice photo all the same but someone obviously disagrees and thats fine.

Thanks.
I see the Karma has stopped going down. I was at the point of stopping this type of photography after some of the grief I have been given by a couple of people over the last few months.
The Fury is a great little aircraft, flys well, looks good and is a cheap way to get into aviation.

Alex, please don't be disheartened by one or two remarks or whatever, for the main part most of us appreciate your photography, if not always the subject. You have shown us here how aircraft I never really appreciated before can look rather magnificent. I also realised at Omaka this year how much is involved when you guys go up for these air to air shoots. It's a big thing and we who see the results greatly appreciate it mate.
Whoever was dissing your karma may have their reasons but I cannot personally understand it. You're a highly valued member of the forum as far as I'm concerned.

I can only agree with Dave. If there is one thing that has been great about this forum its seeing all of the photos that are posted by members here. Air to air photos are special and do involve a lot of work and although people dont put a many comments about some of the photos posted they appreciate them all the same and the internet is a great tool but can sometimes be used negatively by people but then again maybe people dont like some of the photos that much or they dont like the aeroplane photographed so some votes etc could be genuine. When I saw a couple of low number votes on some of my pictures I have on my website I thought that cant be right but perhaps some people have an eye for different things and are just being honest. As for grief, I understand where you are coming from and if the enjoyment in doing things dissappears it can be difficult to commit to something but I guess we are all different people with different points of view.

Alex, love your work, mate. The fact that you're willing to go out and nearly freeze to death taking these aerial shots will always impress me. Your photographs and the advice you have given about how to get the best out of photography have been much appreciated by me over the past couple of years. Keep up the excellent work, and don't become disheartened by the small people out there.

as a bit of a casual lurker , I can honestly say I havnt seen a photo on this forum I didnt like . I enjoy saving some , and sending them to my bro in Aus , drives him nuts that I 'get ' such great shots , whilst he struggles with his latest model camera . If its got an engine , Im happy to see it . Keep up the good work ! :-)

I cant believe anyone would give you or other photographers grief over your shots, they are all fantastic and I for one enjoy them immensley. I'll top up your karma too, great shots. The aerodrome the Cub is landing at is Foxpine?
