I was wondering, you aviation photograhaphers, what are your favourite areas of the country to shoot air to air photos in terms of backdrops?
We see lots here with stunning scenery as well as aircraft. Particularly Alex's shots with the mountains, etc.
Has anyone done any air to air shoots over some of our more interesting lakes such as the beautiful Lake Tekapo with it's iceberg blue water, or maybe Green Lake and Blue Lake at Rotorua? I reckon they're make superb backgrounds.

Dave i'm still waiting for any one of the fly boys to even 'ask' me to take 'air-2-air' shots So that's probably why there are not that many of them............... last time I evem mentioned it to someone their reply ws 'there's a long queue....................................." Here's a thought though..... if the queue is so long... Why?? are there still VERY FEW air-2-air shots ?? and even fewer photographers who know HOW to take pictures ring 021662480 to make MY day ;D
