Never released FN, is advertised in the credits at the end of the A-4k skyhawk the video 25 anniversary - so pretty much more unseen footage, I think don simm has made reference to it in one of the supersonic life threads.

Ah yes, I remember the Travelling On advert. Mobil I think. It was indeed Midge Marsden, and I'm sure I'm right in saying that he was with two other blues singers. One was female and I don't know who she was, the other was none other than that US blues legend, the late Stevie Ray Vaughn! They had met while Midge was touring in the USA, and Stevie came out here to do the advert with him. Was the Skyhawk scene near Waiouru? I cannot quite recall that. I know the advert was really long for the time, and then eventually an edited version ran. I don't recall The Kids From O.W.L. at all. It wasn't Mobil, it was for Europa (remember them?), and the full version is on Youtube here.

Ok guys, we don't really need another debate about the Supersonic Life film. When there's no funding or broadcaster interested it's a fact of life that films won't get finished.

Headless Chickens did a remake of Supertrouper, filmed at Whenuapai. Don't like this song myself, but the clip does contain various RNZAF aircraft (727, Hercules, Orion).

A few music videos have been made at Motat over the years. I just can't remember specifcally which ones but there was one made by that blonde chick from When the Cats Away (or perhaps the other band When The Cats Are Spayed?).

On a slight tangent (something I seem to excel at on this forum), I'm having a retro-80s moment tonight and listening to some music from the greatest decade ever - no debate to be entered into on that, it's a fact as far as I'm concerned - when Pat Benatar's song "Shadows of the night" came on. From memory, its video had a strong aviation theme so a quick YouTube later and ..... Righto, back to my nostalgia Cheers, Stu.

Does anyone remember a short TV series on a batch of Junior Officers going through their training (survival case ect) circa 2004?
