The October 1993 there's a news report saying two Thames Aero Club members - Clive Smith and Lyndsay Seymour - were planning to purchase a Strikemaster from Bankstown company International Airparts, and return it to NZ where they planned to sell shares in a syndicate at $10,000 each.
What happened to this? Did they not get enough interest in the shares? I'd have thought with loads of ex-RNZAF pilots around at that time with Bluntie experience who might have gone for this idea.
