Wonderful, brilliant photos. Thanks Marcus.
That second shot shows six aircraft lined up so probably dates from the photo shoot when all six Hobsonville aircraft were made operational despite orders that two would be attritional airframes. Just a thought, but possibly the same time. It's a fantastic shot!

Scrub that, it's much later as one of the serials is NZ118 so then it's post 1939.
It has to be No. 1 or No. 7 (General Reconnaissance) Squadrons either 1940-43.

The more I look at it, the more I think that second photos is at Whenuapai, with the aircraft lined up alongside No. 3 Hangar (the old tin hangar), which was indeed the hangar of No. 1 (GR) Squadron at the time of Vildebeests and Hudsons. They look to be camouflaged so I'd think this was 1941-42. I just cannot be certain.

Would love to see the photos but all I see is a box saying that this image has been moved or deleted - Photobucket. Any ideas, as this is common for a lot of photos on this site for me?

Remember that this forum does not host images itself. Dave's main photobucket account went over its useage limit, so many photos he posted have been unavailable recently. This is different from the issue with the images in this thread - different error message, different photobucket account. HTH
