According to Flight magazine dated 2 May 1929, the New Zealand Minister of Defence, Mr. Wilfred, stated that a second seaplane base was to be built in NZ for the NZPAF after Hobsonville had been established.
Does anyone know which base that would have been? Mechanics Bay? Wellington? Or not at all at that time?
