What is it with this return of deltas with canards? Are European and Scandinavian designers hankering for short-lived 60s birds to blacken the skies? Odd. And........ Marcus, you need an avatar. Perhaps these coils of boerie will do the trick?

Makes yummy Boerewors and Biltong. He has more Kiwis buying Boerewors and Biltong now than ex-pat Saffers. Thanx for the Avtar suggestion... will take you up on it when I have worked out how to add it??? Groete Marcus

Hi
Interesting to note that the Gripen was apparently not the SAAF's first choice when it came to deciding on a replacement for the Cheetah’s. Underhanded dealing and kick-backs to SA politicians ultimately held sway! The Gripen does not have the “legs” and thus suffers to a degree from the same shortcomings as the old Mirage III’s in SAAF service. The Gripen will have a air-to-air refueling capability but with the SAAF having withdrawn its 707 tanker fleet it will be interesting to see what they use as an aerial tanker? Buddy-buddy to start off with maybe?
