What is it with this return of deltas with canards? Are European and Scandinavian designers hankering for short-lived 60s birds to blacken the skies? Odd. And........ Marcus, you need an avatar. Perhaps these coils of boerie will do the trick?   |

Makes yummy Boerewors and Biltong. He has more Kiwis buying Boerewors and Biltong now than ex-pat Saffers. Hi
Interesting to note that the Gripen was apparently not the SAAF's first choice when it came to deciding on a replacement for the Cheetah’s. Underhanded dealing and kick-backs to SA politicians ultimately held sway! The Gripen does not have the “legs” and thus suffers to a degree from the same shortcomings as the old Mirage III’s in SAAF service. The Gripen will have a air-to-air refueling capability but with the SAAF having withdrawn its 707 tanker fleet it will be interesting to see what they use as an aerial tanker? Buddy-buddy to start off with maybe?
