New Zealand Herald: Air New Zealand has just ordered 2 new Pacific Aerospace CT5000's for delivery next year. These new aircraft cruise at 75000 feet at Mach 5 so breakfast on Waiheke and lunch in New York City. Special ticket prices start at 100, 000 ANZAC Dollars.

If those dots are windows then they're really large engines!
Is this really a Pacific Aerospace conecpt?
You're a little optimistic, I reckon by 2030 we'll be using sailing ships rather than aeroplanes and spacecraft to cross the Pacific.

Engines run on waste fish and chip oil. So 2 fish and i scoop will cost the equvalent of 1 days pay in 2008

A taildragger too no less! that rear engine thingee on the tail fin looks taped on though - Its more likely a Qantas example... Also not sure about Mach 5 with large exposed fans on the front of the engines.

Are u sure thats not just a Luigi Colani design concept. If Pacific Aerospce was to design a new plane it would be cool if they put a jet engine(not a turbo prop) into a CT4 and turned it into a mini Strikemaster. With the optionial wingtip tanks and strikemaster air intakes on the side it would look pretty mean.
