Very cool. Such a huge aircraft, yet so graceful too. Cheers!

Some great photos guys. Thanks for sharing them.
Night one looks great and I always find them quite difficult to get. The inside ones show a quite different perspective of a large aircraft.
Cheers, Colin

Great photos guys; thanks for posting.
I love the nose art too - with the C-17 being paradropped out the back doors of the C-5! ;D

That's a really moody shot Beagle, I love the effect of the lights on the wet tarmac. It looks almost like a watercolour painting. Hope you don't mind me having a bit of a play Beagle. I love the atmosphere in the photo as well. Great photos from all of you, I'd love to see an aircraft this big in person. Cheers, Stu

Who forgot to cage their AI? ;D Irish theory - they're both uncaged and the aircraft's so big that they're indicating the curvature of the earth. ;D

Very Irish...... ;D The pilots AI is on the other side of the world!
A very Lockheed flight deck: Emergency panel, thrust levers, flap selector to name but three.
Remember when......... strip instruments were all the rage..........

To be allowed to go inside the C5 and take photos must be a great opportunity. What a monster. Re the second photo on this page, I wonder what they use the tape for?
