Hi all! Yeah, not too keen on building this one as the parts count is a LOT higher than I anticipated - I'm trying to steer clear of complex, time-consuming builds. I thought at NZ$17.99 it'd be bare as hell, not some stupendous styrene spectacular! I'm happy to trade this off rather than sell, as you may have a kit I'm after. I'm on the hunt for: - 1/200 or 1/144 DC-3 or C-47 - 1/72 Bell 47/OH-13 - 1/72 Airspeed Oxford - 1/72 CA-11 Woomera - 1/72 Beaver - 1/72 Wirraway - Revell 1/80(?) Cessna 180

Hey Zac, the beaver will be hard to come by, the only ones I have found are from stores that don't ship from Canada to us, or in Austria you can grab one. THere is also a guy on e-bay in Singapore that is trying to sell 10... might be worth a try.
The Cessna 180 is 1/41 scale and hobbyco in Sydney have some. It is a bit pricey though at close to $40 Aussie... good build though
1/72 scale Wirraway you can get from the guy who owns High Planes models. I met hime in Sydney recently and bought a 1/72 scale Wirraway (post war one with decals for AUssie aerial sprayer!), 1/72 pilatus turbo porter, 1/72 Wackett (conv to KS-3 aerial topdresser) and a SAAF Atlas Cheetah.
He is really good for Aussie stuff and I am sure he should have the Woomera and Oxford.
Otherwise make me some moulds and I will vacform them, now my vac former has more or less put a fletcher together successfully!

I have an Airfix Beaver in 1/72nd with 1970's box art and all in my stash, and also a 1/72nd Tasman Models Oxford. But they're not for sale nor swap I'm afraid. You certainly don't see either come up very often.

I did have the 70s Beaver for a while but sent it to a fellow modeller as a gift......he subsequently turned it into a tween-wars French bomber with underslung cupola.......

Surely not, Beaver's are not as ugly as French bombers!

Hey Zac,
Hobbycraft beaver is meant to be coming back on sale in mid Feb, however as that is the on sale date for Canada maybe a bit later for us. JB wholesalers aren't sure when the local date is. I have only had one on backorder for 14 months! Is that a record?

Thanks! I WILL have to pick one up at some point, but my need for single engined, high wing, taildragging topdressers should be satisfied by my inbound Beaver!
