My goodness, you can count the rivets in those shots Mick! Just awesome!
And your Spitfire shot is very nice too Colin. Really evocative. I wonder if anyone caught the Spitifre and the Messerschmitt in the same shot during their brief dogfight.

I tried but failed. John Lanham did a great job in that display, I think. It really looked like he was tussling for position, rather than simply following-the-leader. Would love to see that more in future

Some more from me. Thanks for the kind comments. My photos aren't too hot as I don't have one of those whizzy do D-SLR's like most of the other guys, just an old point and click one. I'm not sure if this is the Sahara desert or Tatooine in Star Wars (but it needs another moon for the latter) Note the neat little donation box painted up as the Bristol Shiny!

Damn Kereru you were sitting opposite me at the official dinner!!!!!!!! Teresa and I that is, next to a couple from Belgium who were building a house here and bought a vineyard I believe.

My goodness, you can count the rivets in those shots Mick! Thanks Dave - enjoying your twilight and moon rise shots. AL looked great in golden hour light - both in the air and on the ground. Mick

I hate to go all geek on you here Dave, but Tatooine had two suns, not two moons. Regardless. Fixed that for you.... ;D

Fantastic drum of fire shot Colin!! And the others re great too. I really love seeing those NZ Mounted Rifles re-enactors, it's a pity the horses got spooked on Sunday. The Boer War veteran is also an interesting character to see in the mix.
