"I am releasing the new, and hopefully last for a (long) while, version of the T-45C Goshawk right now. File name is T45cv180.zip, and is being uploaded to both Avsim and Flightsim. The file can also be dowloaded using the rapidshare link below:

Thanks to all the testers who have submitted their feedback, and special thanks to Luigi "Merida72" who has been the most active tester and provided a very accurate feedback.
All the areas of the project have been analyzed, tested and improved. Most of the changes have affacted the external model, which now features optional baggage pod and training bombs (activated by the secondary and tertiary exits command "SHIFT+E" and then immediately "2" or "3"). The flight model has cleaned of some of its defects, most noticeably pitch issues in landing configurations, and the landing gear has a more realistic crash condition. Also, the cockpit model has been tweaked.
Below is the complete list of changes. Have fun.
Visual model:
- improved geometry: nose, windshield, wingtips, air intakes, nose landing gear, slats, fuseleage (following inputs by Luigi "Merida72")
- fixed pilot animation bugs
- fixed miscellaneous texturing bugs
- tweaked ejection seats/pilots proportions and position
- added baggage pod (linked to exit no.2 animation: "SHIFT+E" then "2" to make it appear)
- added practice bomb racks (linked to exit no.3 animation: "SHIFT+E" then 3 to make it appear)
- fixed miscellaneous details
NOTE: External loads will not affect flight behaviour in any way.In the real T-45C carrier operation with external loads are FORBIDDEN
Interior model:
- Fixed right console texture
- Added HUD symbol generator reflection
- Improved glass reflections
- Improved analog dials proportions
Flight model:
- Modified landing gear crash condition: the previous setting was definitely too forgiving, as the main gear was almost indestructable. Now the crash condition is set to 1,800 feet per minute (same as default Hornet). CARRIER LANDINGS SHOULD BE MORE DIFFICULT... but I think it is more realistic
- Slight modification to roll parameters / stability
- Slight modification to gear contact points
- Modified speed brake and flap dynamics
P.S.
As consequence of the release, the posts and the download links for the test files have been removed.
