Grumman F-14D v0.95 releaseUPDATE: indiafoxtecho.blogspot.com/2009/06/grumman-f-14d-v095-release.html"Ok, the version 0.94 of the tomcat was not a good one. Many glitches here and there...well...all I can say I warned you it was not finished :-) Unfortunately I do not have much time to work on it in this days, nor I think I will have anytime soon... But I did what I could to get rid of some of the most annoying issues (namely the a/b bleed and the misplacement of the formation lights). I also did some adjustments to the nose and canopy geometry, while missiles have been redone from scratch. I know that the model is still far from being perfect, and there will surely be many users which will be still unhappy...But I expected this kind of reaction for a much loved bird like the F-14 :-) Please find the download link to the latest Tomcat version (0.95) below: rapidshare.com/files/250274327/F14DA095.zip (18.5Mb) Older download links will be deactivated immediately. Changes from previous release as follows: VERSION 0.95Fixed formation lights A/B effect coding redone (effect bleeding through fuselage when a/b is off should have been fixed) Fixed non working pitot heat switch Cleaned several cockpit texture glitches and added shadows (courtesy of Brandon Templeton) Reworked nose and canopy geometry Redone AIM-7 and AIM-9 models-Fixed minor glitches in the cockpit geometry Minor tweaks to the flight model (reduced maneuverability) Closed minor openings in the cockpit model (scenery bleed through geometry) Removed smoke effect call (smoke effect presence was a mistake - this was left there from an early F-14A build, but afaik GE engines do not produce so much smoke. I had removed the effect on my system but the entry was still there...) Fixed wing sweep indicator behaviour (but will not yet detect oversweep) Fixed flap lever animation (reversed)"

Grumman F-14D v0.99 release domenica 19 luglio 2009 indiafoxtecho.blogspot.com/2009/07/grumman-f-14d-v099-release.htmlF-14D for FSX:Acceleration v0.99"I know that I should better be working on the F-35A (probably my first payware release) but still...here is another Tomcat update. As there are still few bugs, and as it is still missing proper checklists and manuals, I've labeled it 0.99 - but honestly I do not see any major change from my side anytime soon. In this release I've tried to integrate some rapaints, as there are some excellent ones out there...but they were somwhat different in style and did not mix as I hoped...so they were left out. Other than that, major changes are in the visual department (with several fixes new engines and burner effects that I am sure someone will not like....), the dynamics (with a far less overpowered engine... as drawinback it is extremely difficuly to exceed Mach 1.6 now - should be 1.8 for the real F-14D) and a custom sound package courtesy of Aaron Swindle. Download link below: rapidshare.com/files/257752908/f14DA099.zip (26Mb) Previous version deleted. File has also been sent to Flightsim.com. List of changes as follows: VERSION 0.99- Fixed glitch in radar radome opening - Afterburner effects redone (modeled 3d) - Engine nozzle redone - Tweaked engine dynamics (less powerful) - Tweaked gears/flaps/spoliers aerodynamic coefficients - Ajusted arrestor hook contact point (courtesy of James F. Chams) - Added custom sounds courtesy of Aaron Swindle (I've pasted some stock F-18 sounds for full Acceleration compatibility) - Changed canopy texture to allow crew names for repainters - Fixed minor glitch in fuselage geometry"
