Nice rendering. My own memories of AUX was that it was nice to look at but absolutely gutless to fly. Mind you it's the only Cirrus-powered Autocrat I've ever flown, so perhaps they are all like that.

I was guessing it was Tekapo - but only because that looks like Mt Bruce observatory in the 8th photo?

Yep its Tekapo ..its part of the RealNZ Southern Lakes FSX package.
The flight sim model might be a bit too grunty Peter..I guess that is why there is no currently airworthy Autocrats left in NZ.. most seem to have been converted to the more powerful Aiglet. The lack of grunt was probably one of the reasons for the demise of ZK-AUX a few years back..hopefully its under rebuild..anybody know?
