The website for next years event which celebrates 100 years of Australian aviation has been launched. Check out: www.tyabbairshow.com.auSome forum members will be aware that Tyabb has possibly the best collection of operational vintage, veteran, classic and warbird aircraft in Australia. As well as showcasing these, there are planned displays by RAAF, RAN and Army Aviation fixed and rotary wing aircraft (we have asked for a C17, NH90 and Tiger, in addition to the Roulettes and Pirouettes), RAAF museum, Emergency Services (fire bombing helo's), aerobatic displays, and our traditional 'airfield under attack' warbird sequence. Locally produced aircraft will be featured including displays by Ceres, Transavia Airtruck, Nomad, and Airtourer. It is hoped that the Bleriot replica will also be flying. An airshow special vintage steam train is being arranged to bring visitors from Melbourne on the day. A warm welcome assured for any forum members attending. 18th April 2010. Be there!
