A Battle Of Britain service was held at Ohakea today and a Spitfire display was to follow followed so I asked Al Marshal is he would like to go up and watch the display and of course he did. We took the trusty Chang up and had a relaxing few hours at Ohakea. Sean Perrett flew the aircraft very well, it was a great display. Was great to catch up with Brendon and the team as well as some RNZAF guys we know well. We had good flying conditions and a good day all round. It was great to hear a Merlin again. Were any forum members from the North Island there today? More to follow:

I was tempted, but decided against it at the last minute. Damn, should've gone! Oh well, thanks for posting the pics Gavin! Looks like a grand day for AL!
