Good to see the P40 being used as a Paint drying hangar - and a clown shelter!

Well at first glance it looked like a Spit one to me however it is a bit fat looking in the centre. maybe Barracuda or Typhoon/Tempest?

Don't know the prop. Are those Desert camouflaged wings of a Spit?

Yes, they're off the Spitfire TR9 that is being repaired there after it's wheels up landing at Masterton

The wheels were down when it started the landing process.

How long until said Spitfire flies again? I'm still yet to see it in the flesh. Great to see the progress on the Tomahawk, what a treat that will be!

Yes, a little birdy told me it's coming on well. There are also a few improvements being done at the same time where the original reconstruction wasn't quite right. ie. the mounts for the undercarriage differed from original meaning the wheels when extended were 2 inches aft of where they should be resulting in it being a little more nose heavy

Perhaps the prop is from a Firefly? Not heard anything about the Fireflies at Ardmore for some time Would be great to see ZK-WDQ out and about again soon, I was hoping like mad to see her at WOW2010. Re the Harvard, I'd guess its the Canadian-built example at the AvSpecs website.

You mean the Firefly singular at Ardmore, one of the pair was sold overseas some time back. The other is in storage.

Firefly much more likely, at least there are a couple here.

No its too fat for a Firefly prop at least as far comparing it with Firefly pics. Maybe a souvenir brought back by someone? Do you know Fockewulf? Put us out of our misery ;D

When I look at pictures of prop blades off Fireflies for example, the leading edge of the prop(with the metal edge) is fairly straight but the one at Avspecs has quite a curve out and back to the tip as does the trailing edge. I could be wrong, check out this MK 1 on this webpage. www.thescale.info/news/publish/Fairey-Firefly-detail-photos.shtml
