Now showing on the History Channel, 8.30pm Thursday nights, Jetstream focuses on 8 RCAF pilots as they undergo operational conversion in the CF-18 with 410 Squadron. - Good aerial cinematography
- The filmmakers chose to focus on the human side of the training, which broadens the appeal at the expense of the more technical side of operations within the Squadron.
- The unmistakable Canadian sense of humour brings a few chuckles along the way.
This an interesting counterpart to Speed and Angels, and well worth a look.

thx for heads up on this flyingkiwi - I was considering getting the DVD but now thats its on cable - great. Saw ep 3 tonight as you say is very good show. Has more technical aspects than the recent Aus show Real Top Guns. Not too many historical clips with WW1 dogfights etc. Now just got to get hold of eps 1 and 2! also noticed an aussie instructor doing an exchange in the canadian sqn.

The show's website does show past episodes but only if you live in Canada so unless you can find a Canadian proxy IP you can't view them on the web.
I think I'll buy the DVD regardless.
