Don't forget, we need another $600 for the chase plane Harvard with Gavin Conroy and his camera!! I'm sure we will complete this next target as well!!

$100 bucks sent in, these men are my heroes and are, to my mind, the real heroes of this world. It's a word that's used far too lightly in my opinion, but these gentlemen, every one of them, are the very essence of the word.

I couldn't agree more Matthew. And that Greatest Generation is disappearing all too fast.

If the total required has been met and you still feel like donating to a worthy aviation cause- remember this forum has a long standing request for help: rnzaf.proboards.com/thread/14936/help-donationYou can do your bit to help Dave bring you your dose of aviation goodness

Congratulations on implementing a great idea.
Probably a bit far to come for the day (12,000 miles), but have a great day.

Isn't it wonderful that one who dreamt of being in the air again in "his" bird is getting the chance. Shows that there are still hearts who give a damn. Well done everyone. Cant wait to see it happen on the 28th, all going well. Congrats to the organisers, for making this a possibility.

Must say that I was proud to have played a part in this and gave a little something too. What a great bunch of guys to do this for someone most of us have never even met.
I hope Alan has a fantastic journey.
Reminds me of a movie about another old veteran who went up a few years ago

I have some cash sitting around from my last NZ trip. Can I send it over to you as a contribution to Alan's flight?
