Both the "Wings Over New Zealand Show" podcast series and my other series "Courage And Valour: New Zealanders In The Italian Campaign of WWII", plus the Wings Over Cambridge website are all now hosted on the one server. In mid-May this server comes up for its annual fee renewal, so if you're a fan of these series and the website, and you'd like to contribute a little towards maintaining them online and keeping their content free to the public, please feel free to make a donation to the cause. Anything that comes in will be used to fund the server costs, and anything left over will be reinvested into future recordings for both series. You can message me for further instructions or you can use PayPal - instructions via the link here: rnzaf.proboards.com/thread/14936

Well this appeal didn't work... I guess the site and podcasts will all be disappearing soon as I am struggling to find the cash to keep them running.

Dave I think you needed a more dramatic thread heading. I nearly missed this. Send me details and I will contribute

Well I have just finished listening to every episode of the Wings Over New Zealand Podcast up to 110 of the podcast. Enjoyed every one of them. I wouldn’t say, that they have got better Dave, but they seem to be a little more polished and you seem more relaxed than in the first few of them. My favorites of course The Noel Kruze series, Ian Whitney, Don Subritzky,(don’t know maybe they speak the same way I do) The Black Sands even though it is the longest one still very interesting, and I think the Judy Pay episode. Hoping to hear more of the Noel Kruze saga including his flying school life. Just as a matter of interest, download and I listen to them as I drive around working and then go back and look at any photos that have been posted with the episode. No pressure BUT I am looking forward to the next 110.

Hi Dan, thanks very much for the feedback, it is always nice to know what people think and what they enjoyed about the series and various shows. Yes, I agree that I'm more relaxed these days when making the shows. Back when I started I have to admit I really did not know where the show was going to go, what direction it would take, and I definitely didn't think I'd have produced so many shows as I have. And there are loads more to come. I really enjoy meeting the guests, hearing their stories and sharing them with the world. I'm really glad that you enjoyed the Black Sands show. It has been a real slow burner, not many downloads, but I personally think the content is great, much better than I was expecting to capture in fact. It's also a superb event and I plan to be there again this year, and hopefully will record another show there with some different aviators hopefully. Noel moved down to Omaka so it's not so easy now for me to pop round for a chat like it was when he lived here in Cambridge. I'd love to record more with him though and hear the rest of his highly entertaining and interesting life story. Maybe we'll have to organise a Noel Kruse Episode Fund to get me to Omaka? Haha As for the episodes you've listened to, did you realise there are more in the archive, episodes 111 to 113 are here www.cambridgeairforce.org.nz/WONZ_Show_111_120.htmlAnd Episode 114 Wings Over Australia "Temora Part One" will go online tomorrow.
