Don't forget if you move it to another album (even in the same account) it will disappear from here. Think of it this way. The link you copy and post in your message is the address for this forum to look for the photo and display it. So logically move it to a different location and the link will no longer work. Probably confusing to say "I'll post photos" You aren't you are posting links that retrieve the photos and display them. There you go clear as mud!

Yes I've tried to reorganise the albums better, to try and make it easy for my husband to follow!! Still he has given me the job of transferring photos. I'm getting there. But as you will see from The Lancaster Memorial, I've tried to post a photo that I have reorganised. Is there any way of getting it back to its original format so I can post the IMG to the forum. Sorry just the "naafi" not so flash on these hi-tech systems!

Its still in this thread so the link still works. Are you trying to post it in another thread?

Testing out the photo tutorial... That would have to be John Cotton's display - late 80's?

My post tells my that my attached image from my computer, which is not visible except as a text link to an attachment, when I click the attachment, I get the message that it's the wrong format (it IS a .jpg, less than 1K gb) and it doesn't show at all. When I inserted a link between and [/IMG] tags, it shows only the red X and ignores the rightmouse click Show Picture command - is that because this sytem only works with pics stored at only one online photo storage site? My photo is at flickr.com, and I cannot see why it's not working at all.

Yes, you either have to use the IMG tags with something available online (can have multiple images per post, and Flickr provides the BB Code), or use the 'Attachment' functionality to show something that is only on your computer (limit one per post).
