From the photo attached does anyone know what colour (shading) was at the bottom of Max's logo on the spitfire?

"Brendon is hosting the RNZAF artwork display in the hangar all that week so the aircraft may not be in their usual positions and may be “bunched up” a little more than usual – hopefully that will be well cleared away by then and we’ll have them spaced out again."
Program for the art exihbition is as follows: * Public Viewing (Biggin Hill): Sunday 25 March * Exhibition Opening (Biggin Hill): Wednesday 28 March * Public Display (Base Ohakea): Saturday 31 March * Wanaka Gallery (Wanaka): Saturday 07 April – Sunday 29 April So the exhibition could still be in the hangar on Saturday.

It started as a hobby but it has grown to be more than that. I am looking to do canvas prints of the painting for a local shop ihere in Napier as they would like to sell them. Just looking into the cost and seeing if it viable. I have done other paintings of different subjects which I have sold. The Hurricane is for sale. The typhoon I have decided still has some work to do on it as the trees are to over powering. Thanks for the nice comments. Cheers Don Wilkie

This is pretty much finished the painting is of Flt.Lt .John Henrys Hawker Typhoon of 175 Squadron based at Le Fresne Camilly in Normandy late June 1944. As you can see from the first time up I have changed quite a bit on it. Thankyou all for your comments I have only been doing aircraft since December last year. What I would like to do is a series on the NZAF.
