Baz, the Beaver with the RNZAF roundel is the Warbirds syndicate Beaver CKH not AZB. Alan, Hallett is taking AZB to his base next week to start the new paint job and reassembly. She is in a bit of a state but I'm sure he will have her looking like new come October.

I Think Baz was referring to the pic on page 1 of the thread - AZB in an "RNZAF Museum Joyrides" Scheme

AZB's wheels went on yesterday so the fuselage can be taken to the spray painters. All other components have been painted.

Great stuff! Out of curiosity - and O/T - what are the two aircraft in the hangar behind?

In the back of Hallett's hangar are his Zlin Z37T ZK-PJO and the Transland AG2 CX-AYC The Ag2 was developed from the Texas A & M AG1. P&W R1340 powered and built in Torrance, California (the home of Robinson Helicopters).

A young workmate of mine at WAW had mentioned the AG2 but had no idea what it was, saying that it was a one-off and had a very thick wing section.

Great work. It looks very nice. Did a Beaver fly with both liveries like that or is this just forthe reunion, marking the two companies?

Dave, Hallett wanted to pay respect to the ECAS guys, especially John Riddell, hence the 2 liveries. I think they are only temporary and will be removed after the Reunion. It did wear ECAS briefly when John was flying it in the early 60's.
