What is happening with LTQ now? I heard she has been replaced in Taupo by an Air Tractor.

See a write up on Des Neil of Otago Airspread in Saturdays Otago Daily Times. He has bought the ex Wanaka skydive cresco ex ROK and put a hopper in and put it to a real job. Now regdistered OAS

Now regdistered OAS Now that is interesting. Seeing how many Fletchers/Crescos are going from Ag ships to Skydive ships, I never thought I'd see a case of the operation being reversed. Has this happened to any others in New Zealand? |

Has this happened to any others in New Zealand? I think the crash at Fox glacier and the subsequent limitations imposed on how many meatbombs the operators can carry is a factor in this. Many para operators are moving to the XSTOL-750 or Cessna Caravans. The previously posted pink ZK-TPW, was ZK-SDT as a para version. It was swapped for Hallet Griffins XL-750 which now wears the SDT rego. There are also 2 para Fletchers and 2 para crescos for sale here: www.southernaircraft.co.nz/aircraftforsalelistings.cfmAlthough one of the Crescos for sale has been sold - ROK which as previously mentioned is now ZK-OAS and back ag flying. |

Worked for WAW for a few years through 05-08. Got heeeaps of Cresco pics over the years even before I began working there (I used to sweep WAW hangars as a kid). First one here is Firbombing practice / demo for DOC... Attachments:
