Just wondering how many Piper Seneca's have been operated here NZ?
And if it would be possible, some pictures of the different Seneca's that have registered here.
Thanks,
JW

Air Hawke's Bay has two, one Seneca 1 ZK-DCM which replaced ZK-DCI which is now in Fiji and is used for training. And a Seneca 3 ZK-RSQ which is used to carry doctors from Napier to Wairoa.

Does any member of the forum have a copy of the accident report for ZK-EQA they can share?

I know this is a very old thread but for anyone who might be interested, there appear to be 18 Senecas of various models still registered in NZ. We (Southern Wings) currently have MIE and FNB in the photos above on our books still however FNB is a disassembled parts source in a hangar in Timaru and hasn't flown for years, and won't likely in future. MIE is active with us in Invercargill and occasionally Auckland when work demands it there. WIW and SFC both live at Ardmore with private owners, SFC has been recently refurbished and repainted. I've seen ROC around a bit, I'm not sure where it's based currently though, and ZAG is on Golden Bay Air's books. Most of the others I'm unsure of.

Coincidentally I saw TSD at Ardmore today in the runway 21 engine runup area. I'd forgotten about JDH, I gave a student a type rating in that a couple of years ago when it was on line with Christian Aviation.
Regarding the accident Zac posted above, nine people is a hell of a lot in a Seneca, even with some being children. They're usually set up in a six seat configuration although there is an optional seventh seat that can turn the middle row into a bench but it's cozy enough without it. I did once have someone want to go seven all up in a 172 with three infants but I declined that suggestion...
